I put in 2 peppermint shrimp a few weeks ago in my 29G and they have deffinetly gotten rid of some and seem to be slowly getting rid of the rest. I have heard they are hit or miss, but seem to be working for me.

Even nowing that, I used to rush trying to get them back in the water (when placing or fragging). Half the time I rush and make a mistake. I've learned to slow down, and this just reinforces that you have time.

I put two in my 29 Sunday. (Got them from Ocean Gallery for $2.50 each sale). I am trying to get rid of some aptasia (sp?) So far they have done very little as far as movement but I did notice one aptasia near where the shrimp have settled gone today, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

That's a lot of growth. I just put in a 2 inch piece of GSP. I am hoping to fill in the back wall and overflow of my 28g. I do know that they grow fast, but I have heard that they are not too difficult to keep up with (cut out if needed)
