nice setup, great aqualscape too... BTW: my flame angle was good citizen for the 1st 6 months, then he started to pick on some of my corals... i then increase the feeding... and the picking stopped.

you probably should consider to shorten the stand, with that little head room, it is going to be tough to get the light in, even you managed to get it in, it would be trouble due to too close to the water surface and will have water splash, then eventually salt build up and will get stuck...

the 600g was full and do not have much room left... so he make a new tank with narrower and longer, so he can put in more stuffs... and maintaining the 600g also tough, all the stuffs under the stand, hard to reach area...etc, the new big tank is now in the back closed to all the plumbing, and...

Renee, i read the whole RC thread... i think it make sense to do TWO switchs instead of one switch. 1st to control the ON-duration, and the 2nd to control the OFF-duration. if you are not started yet, please hold on... i am asking one of my best friend to help to give me the latest updated...

i like both color, day & night for different time... NOT going to change them to all-MH nor all-T5. ;) - the MH is using Reflux 14K during day time. - the T5 is using BluePlus & Actinic

I have my 3x250W MH on during the day from 9am to 8pm (see below ===), and 8xT5 (36") 8am-9:15am, then 7:45pm-9pm (see below ---). would it be beneficial to also keep the 8xT5 (36") on at that "same time"? between 9am to 8pm (see below ***). my objective is to have more T5 blueplus shine on the...
