Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
mess bag - it would still flow around, need to secure it, and not too tie.
an eggcrate place at 45 degree angle on a corner, or a eggcrate box, probably better...
if you must, then somehow secure them:
- to not let them get blow around by powerhead, which would drag/bother your corals,
- also do not let fish eat them. (it would be gone way faster than grow...)
;)
why it need to be redo the plumbing? why not just hook it up with a small pump, throw them both in the sump? it is the same principal - right? (make water run through it...)
???
Re: Here's my 120
Bax,
these are all excellent photos!!!

please keep posting...
:D
fish:
- yellow tank (75g tank is a bit pushing it... but do able.)
- royal gramma
- fire fish
- watchman goby
corals:
- zoa
- mushroom (may grow fast)
- pulsing zenia (may grow real fast like weed and become a nuisance)
this should keep you start for few more months, then after you came to...
just like Wendy said, take the smaller ones out to a container on the side...
then slowly rearrange it again with big one at the bottom first.
not necessary need to arrange outside of the tank first, cause you won't be able to put it exactly as that when you put it back in, due to some slightly...
congratulation on the great success! sure want to see a lots more pics from your new setup.
you probably can get a cheap T5 for the lighting fixture...
I always think about the same...
but, later on, decided to just call up some friends with GOOD camera, and have them come over to took pics of my tank... few beers would do... (cost much less than an expensive camera)!
;D
i have the Cati-Ani unit from "Artisan Corals"...
been recharging them about 5 times...
at first, it seems a pain... now, not too bad...
i will post some DIY steps later when i get a chance.
