Thanks for the feedback. I do have a lid, but keep the front center open, to just make things easier and help gas exchange. I read they will graze on copods and really want to reserve a fish with that type of diet to the mandarin and Poters Lepeord Wrasse. So probably not going to go with Anthias.
I've never had Anthias, I saw the purple ones online and like them. Based on what I read I think adding a few would be nice. Thanks for the recommendation Mark.
just updating my tale of the tank. So far so good, all fish are healthy, active and eating dry food.
2nd batch of fish in from the QT into the DT today and everything is going well. So far I have the following...
2 blood red shrimp
4 False Percula Clowns
2 Black clowns
3 fire fish
Royal Gramma...
I just went through this process, had live rock full of pests. Did the bleach for 48 hours, let dry, 3 hour acid bath with 10:1 water to Muriatic acid ratio, let dry, 48 hour vinegar bath, let dry, put in tank with no fish, no light, skimmer on, and water changes at 79 degrees, took 8 weeks to...
Well, potential trouble in paradise.
As part of my aquarium repair. I installed 1/2" glass braces under the plastic braces that cracked. One of the glass braces let go from the front glass. I drained a bit of the tank, cleaned the glue out as best I could and re-glue it.
Feeling a little...
The PBT is now eating flake food and swimig all over the QT instead of hiding in the PVC. I have not seen any Ick/white spots and the PBT is not scratching itself at this point. Going to continue to treat with metroplex for another two weeks and observe how he is doing.
Just when I post a positive thread on the tank's status over the weekend my PBT who ate the first day home is now not eating and scratching himself. Although I don't see Ich on his body yet I assume that is what he has. Going to treat him with Seachem. Metroplex which will help cure a few things...
A little update on my tank. So far so good. I've had some live stock in there for about 5 weeks at this point.
All inhabitants are happy, Clownfish, fire fish, and two Scarlett Cleaner shrimp are doing great.
Here is. Link to a short vid(Made with my iPhone, not the best quality)....

I Called a few to do an aquarium repair and none would touch it, and I just wanted to repair the front seams and add glass braces on top. Probably better off replacing the tank, since replacing a panel is time consuming and no guarantee the glass seals will hold,
I was there to buy fish so did not look carefully at the corals. but overall their coral tanks looked well stocked. I have bought corals from them in the past and one of the main reasons is they have a lot of frags at reasonable prices.
Good stock of pods, frozen foods, etc. A very nice store...
I stopped buy Allquatics today and they had a nice assortment of tangs, about 4-5 of each Powder Blue, Yellow, Purple, and Sohal Tangs. All 4-5" range.
I picked up a PBT, already eating flakefood and in my QT.
Since I am starting over I was tempted to try the "buy 3 small tangs at the same...
