    Inkbird with wifi

Did you get the 306 wifi? I liked the 308 since it was able to turn on the fans and/or heater, but they don't make a wifi aquarium version for it. Customer support said you can cut off the metal probe and attach the silicone probe, so it's something I was looking into doing.

    Inkbird with wifi

Just found out this was a thing, I ran a regular inkbird and it worked well until the readings went out of wack. Anyone try the ones with wifi and 2 probes? Looks like if 1 probe is 5° dif from the other, it will message you.

    Screen Cover

yes, you need to cut it with a hacksaw. Since there are different dimensions for 4ft tanks, having a universal kit for all 4ft tanks is easier.

Looks like 2-4ft pieces and 2-3ft pieces. It doesnt come with the suspension brackets, so u will need those aswell.

    Mantis found!

More recommended to use an acrylic tank for those, people say they can shatter glass, and better safe then sorry. Unless its the spearing type of mantis. Those you need sand for them to burrow themselves. I kinda wanted one to sit in my sump but its not worth the risk with a glass sump sadly. ☹...

    Mantis found!

That's pretty cool, there are definitely people who want to keep those in a small tank by itself.

Leveling 65 gallon tank and calculating saltwater needs

You can try making a platform with plywood and have one side 1" higher than the other. Asthetically, it wont look good (unless you put some extra work into trying to make it match the cabinet) , but 1" is alot to rely on shims. Pic is not to scale and the amount of legs is just a concept, im...

What I have learned from using my trident.

Ended up getting soda ash to suppliment the kalk, calcium is always high, but my alk definitely drops faster, not sure what is consuming it.

    Sump

For a 72x24x30, every inch of water that gets drained is ~7.5gallons So lets say the sump is a 40 gallons, and it holds 23 gallons of water when running, the water can drop a lil over 2 inches before the sump starts to overflow.

    Sump

L x W (of tank) (inches) x h (difference between top of water level and return nozzle hole) (inches) / 231 (conversion in^3 to US Gal) = # gallons of water that will siphon back ***You can drill a hole in the return line, or just adjust the height of the nozzle to affect the water level...
