Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Hmmmm... It occurred to me that this would be a great way to increase both NJRC's local NY/NJ recognition and our membership...
Why don't we invest in the purchase of a few hundred of these and put them in each RAP attendee's "Goody Bag":
One each NJRC Name/Logo imprinted on a very real N95...
I've been running a Ranco for several years now, but it recently passed away on me. I have a duplicate backup for it, but I preferred to keep it on the sidelines as I've been using it to dissolve the bottom solids in the gallon jugs of my ESV Alkalinity two part supplement whenever necessary...
You now have a gadget that, with a heavy drop in ORP, will tell you that your tank is about to crash because something big has died in it. As you shouldn't need an ORP meter to see that happening, I'd suggest you exchange it for something more practical. ORP probes have a small place in the...
That isn't really as odd as the Pearlfish that just happens to make a home up there!

Looks like a filter-feeding cucumber. I think you'll find them a little less hardy than the cucumbers that ingest sandy substrates. I've had two of the black sand cleaners for years now.
CAVEAT The VIRUS is having a very negative effect on our hobby --- there has been a great cutback of international airline flights, and as a result there is a great drop in the number of shipments of marine specimens coming into the country. So, if you see something available that you really...
FWIW, ORA breeds saltwater mollies. I got some silver ones two weeks ago, and was told they were expecting the gold ones in. I think they were $10@. The store is Ely's in Florham Park. (Ely's Tropical Fish) Just noticed on the page that you now need to call them before going there.
