    Does GFO go bad?

Phosphate test kits are a joke in my opinion. they generally do not pick up lower levels of phosphate. Where are you located? Maybe we can get a meter over to test your water for you. Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk 2

    Free Scroll coral

Mark, Depending how far gone it is I can try nursing it back...I am still rebounding from my loss during the hurricane and while some of my corals are growing back great, I still have a lot of void to bring it back to its glory. I will be at the meeting if you decide to give it to me.

    Does GFO go bad?

There has been debate about this topic a few times with no conclusion. I used some old stuff as you are describing a few years ago and had no luck with it. I tossed it and bought high capacity stuff from BRS and had immediate results. If you have a Phos meter, I would take a few tests to see...

    Titanium Heaters

I purchased a 1000w JBJ tru temp titanium heater with controller through one of our sponsors. When I opened the package I was impressed and for the next couple of months, it was awesome how my temp no longer fluctuated as much as it always did. Then I ran into the problem that I have now read...

    De-Ionization resins

LOL, Russ has helped me a couple of times, I know I have to do it, I just hate the fact and it takes up too much room. I was set to do this, but I have worse problems now. My booster pump went and I think my membrane is clogged :sorrow: I just can't win!

    Inherited 90

Doesn't make sense? I am trying to imagine how the reading will change, but I guess it is possible being that all units are different! I actually open my flush for 2 mins when I start up the unit. After that, I will flush it for another 2 minutes if it has been running for a long period of time.

    Old bulbs

Back in the day we started to collect bulbs at the monthly meetings and had a partner to recycle them for us. That company and contact is no longer in existance to help. I have collected a few times and brought to Depot, but they were not happy with it because of quantity. When I was elected...

    Tons of Bubbles from return.

Nate, do the bubbles stop when you block off either outlet or just one? Odd, but the only thing I am thinking is that a siphon break hole(if your setup has them) could be acting as a venturi by sucking in air as the water flows past it? Maybe others might know something else
