Re: Brian's 225g Monstrosity!
I'll take some pictures in the next few days...and I'll also name him later too...If he doesn't do a good job I may name him "Flushy" lol
Re: Brian's 225g Monstrosity!
Yeah, he's pretty big. Can't tell what he's doing yet...I can say he moved over a bunch of the macro without touching it...so i'm not sure he's going to eat any of that. Hopefully he can take care of the bryopsis that's been hanging around though.
Got to see it in person yesterday...It's really VERY nice...made me want to come home and put a sledge through my tank!
Bill is the only person that can take corals from a 70g and put them in a 180g and not have any room for corals left!!
I think you guys deserve a meeting...it's been too long and everyone is always asking about your system...Plus you guys are kind of (sorta) south (for us at least!)
Re: Brian's 225g Monstrosity!
I pulled out about 1/2 of a 5 gallon bucket full of the caulpera...started dosing vodka and added a rabbit fish (foxface).
I can't really tell if anything is happening yet, other than the fox face hasn't touched one bit of the macro...so i guess time will tell.
Sweet! tank looks great, Bill!
Next time i'm in the area and you don't 600 relatives over we have to check it out! Good luck with the new system, I can't wait to see what it's going to look like in a few months!
Well, I have the vodka (still dosing in the tank, not in myself...yet) I bought I one foxface...so there is some money saved for all of you.
Maybe I'll use the money to hire a bunch of reefers to come and redo the tank!
Hey gang,
I'm going to ask everyone to tread lightly on this subject. The question at hand is not whether or not we agree with the stimulus package, just what you are going to spend it on. If the political overtones continue, this thread will be removed.
Thanks for your anticipated understanding.
Same here, I have a few reactors with no clamps...I'm not saying it's the smartest thing to do. But I've never had any issues since there is barely any pressure in there.
You need to click on the gallery button, then click on the {my gallery} button, then click the add a category button.
Then you should see an upload button after you create the category (folder).
Let me know if that helps.
Re: Brian's 225g Monstrosity!
Thanks for all the encouragement guys...The only problem with removing it is, I can barely reach the bottom the of tank (30") and with the canopy on it makes it almost impossible to work...but the canopy is to large and bulky to remove it alone...I'll try and see...
Re: Brian's 225g Monstrosity!
I think that may be it. Of course it's a type that will definitely go sexual. Rabbitfish do seem to be the key to removal. I just couldn't see one fish doing any sort of substantial removal of it.
