    It's too bad that that is the only way to get people to come to a meeting. There are no raffles supplied by the club. With the push for MACNA and just having the swap it's a bit difficult to scrounge up any more donations from our more than generous sponsors. We need a break once in awhile...

    Flat Panel TV

    I always try to use the THX optimizer that comes on all George Lucas DVD's. It has color and sound settings and usually works pretty good. I've always heard to set the sharpness to zero. Honestly, I've adjusted mine from one end to the other and have never really noticed the difference.

    Interesting Things I've Learned During the Holidays

    We didn't have people over for Thanksgiving...but they will be coming tomorrow for Genevieve's bday party. Things I've heard.. 1. You're crazy 2. Those plants are really nice 3. Clams eat fish, don't they? That's all I can remember right now...maybe tomorrow I'll have some more!

    "probe start" or "pulse start"

    I would go with the pulse start, they are better at firing the bulbs. But if you have a choice you should go with an electronic ballast and skip the magnetic ones.
