Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
You could also just do a plain 'ole standpipe. After playing with Dursos and Stockmans I finally just took all the extra stuff off and went with a straight pipe...took away all my gurgling and "swooshing".
The December monthly meeting will be held at Maggiano's Little Italy restaurant in Bridgewater.

Thanks and hope to see everyone there!
Is the tank level? That could be the cause of one side draining faster than the other...
For the drains you could try screwing in a PVC elbow into the bulkhead...that's what I did on my frag tank...I have just the strainer screwed into my bulkhead on my fuge...but there is low flow in...
Well, it's probably not a good thing to have any detritus building up. Is there a way you can stick a power head in your sump, direct it at your caulpera to keep the detritus in suspension?
Great Job! You didn't waste ANY time with that!
Good luck with the leveling...I couldn't be bothered with shims...I (meaning John and Phyllis) poured a concrete pad in my basement to level the tank! lol
If you could put the skimmer/sump somewhere remotely that would be your best bet, otherwise it looks like you may need to downgrade the skimmer. Also remember you will need room to remove the collection cup. Can you have it hang off the sump on the right hand side of the tank?
It's right on rt.35 (St.George Ave) in Avenel. If you pass McDonalds you've gone too far. (I assume you are coming from the south) It's in the strip mall after Burger King.
I bought one of those lights years ago from that seller (I'm guessing it's the same seller under a different name...same location and spelling of the word "chord")
You get what you pay for...mine went up in flames (literally) after a month of having it...If I were you I would save up a little...
Thanks, Ed & Jen! I think that might be a record for the most food/liquor at a meeting! WOW!
Your tanks look great too!
Here are some pics from the day...

If there...
FWIW I used to test out corals on my Emperor...Seemed to nip a bit at leathers (but this seemed like just a taste test because he never went back to it), forget about zoo's...ate them like munchkins! Didn't try SPS because the tank wasn't capable of sustaining them.
