Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
To be honest, I am not positive, but I believe it is a blue turaki.
I bought the frag from someone who was moving and the corals were "angry" as can be seen by the before pics, so they were hard to identify at the time.
I am thinking about getting an aquarium controller, but before I do I wanted to see what controllers others are recommending.
Right now I only have one tank 60 gallons. Nothing fancy
I imagine there will be a time when I upgrade to a 120 or 180 gallon.
I anticipate I would need 8 sockets...
I am curious how long you have been keeping them? I read they can be difficult to keep due to their specialized diet, but it sounds as if you have been successful.
What are you feeding them?
I would suggest you go with a clam over a starfish. I am assuming you are not talking about a brittle star, which would be different.
Once you have the tank running for a while the clam has a better chance of surviving.
Most starfish that I would call "colorful" will require more rock than you...
I like my flame hawkfish, but I suspect he may have eaten my peppermint shrimp.
My hawkfish must be too lazy to jump....and frankly he doesn't seem like he could get up the speed.
Fish has tons of personality.
Took the plunge and purchased an orange linkia a few days back.
It has moved around a little bit, so I am at least happy it is doing that.
Will see how it goes in the long term.
Unfortunately the report my water company provides is not as comprehensive as the one you posted.

Is there a place where you can obtain a more comprehensive report on your tap water?
Anyone have experience with these fish, and inverts.
What inverts will they eat besides small shrimp? What is considered a small shrimp in Hawkfish terms.
