Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I do not have any real world experience with colonial hydroids, but this article talks about them in depth and sites some top shell snails and nudibranches eat them.

Nudibranch learchis poica is reported to be one of them, but I have...
I wanted to ask what contaminants are missed by standard RO/DI and Kati Ani units.
If it is different, please identify which one.
I am defining contaminants, as anything that would be considered undesireable for a reef tank.

I did read that they could have an air bubble trapped in their mouth, but I struggle to understand why an animal such as a starfish would have trouble releasing an air bubble from its mouth.
Is there anyone who has further insight...
One of my mushrooms detached from the rock it was on.
I have placed it back on a rock and placed mesh over it (tool)
How long does it typically take for a mushroom to attach?
You can see pics of most of the common conch's available, including the tiger sand conch.

Good Luck with your build! I have always heard Tunze make good compact skimmers, but I have no direct experience with them, so do not go by my word alone.
