if i was to do it again. i would suggest go either custom made (custom king) from manhattanreefs, zeo tank or zero edge. beautiful tanks! i like the uniqueness. if you like rimless go either cadlights or solona. if your a baller go ELOS.

i believe most people like slower flow rate through their sump. which is about 5-10x water volume i personally use mine to have a higher volume of water since my display is only a 29gal, don't like power heads in the display so use it for water flow in DT, and moving all equipment out of sight...

it would be all about testing and how your rock setup is to determine best way to kill all dead spots. the light fixture would possibly be ok to keep low light corals but i doubt you'd get a color pop with that low of light. what's the height of the 29gallon? i'm guessing it's a 29 aga?
