Wow, that anemone looks fantastic! Did the first feeding try float away or was that just my eyes? Would have been cool to see a bit more video after he grabbed the second piece. (Hint Hint)

The grass is interesting also. How hard was that to plant? Was it all seeds or did you have to stick in each blade separately?

I see some "browning" on the sand. Your "First Bloom" was most likely due to disturbing the sand while planting the grass. Don't be suprised to see some hair algae because of it. Hope your snails are hungry! ;D

By the way, I love how your tank gives you that double image look when you look at it from the front corner. It makes it look bigger than it really is too.

Its all new sand, the rock and water was from my other system.

I was expecting a bloom on the sand bed and its begun to die back.

I got a huge ball of cheato in the sump and the skimmer comes tommorow. I am tearing down the old tank on friday.

I basically wiffed on the feeding and had to readjust my position. I will def take more pics and a video, since the anemone is so white its doesnt show up well on my cam.

Yea, I expected the algae to get a bit worse, but if it's already receeding then you are in good shape. Chaeto is good stuff and will certainly help. Skimmer will obviously help too.

Noticed your heater is now well hidden too. ;)

Hows that skimmer working out for you ? I see a waiting list for hornet frags in your future with my name first !

That skimmer does look like a beast. Nice that it came with a spare mesh wheel too.

I noticed numbers on the standpipe. Is that for adjusting height by turning it?

Did you move the anemone, or is that just a pic from a different angle?

That is so you can adjust the hieght in the skimmer. Its a beast I mean its tooooo big for my tank but better safe then sorry.

The anemone actually went on a two day walking spree when i added my clowns. It actually settled on the opposite side of of where it was closed to the light and in more flow as expected.

Its a beast!!!!! The anemone has been sucking down mysis like its skittles. I started to get a bloom of cyano.

Ill do a water change this weekend and see if it recedes.

Things are coming together nicely. Bubble magus skimmers are awesome. I picked mine up before they got popular. BM100 with the meshwheel mod. Works up to par with the more expensive skimmers at a fraction of the price.
