Its hard plumbed in :/ someone said to mess with the durso pipes maybe.I would try removing the nipple you have on the end going into the sock. It looks as if it is reducing it some.
That's what I was thinking, wasn't sure how well they held up tho. Do they still pick up a lot of debris?Use the mesh socks I have the other type in my sons 40b and they clog way to quick but I use the mesh in my 90 and it goes at least a week
I hear ya. I wanna at least try the mesh socks. Think it'd be kinda silly to not use the space that was built for socks. Hopefully it works out.Dan this is how my system is . 90gal rr with like 60 lbs of rock sand. with 40g sump with three chambers. left is from tank drain with a skimmer set pretty dry... middle chamber , more rock and sand ....last chamber is the return pump i got from you.my water is crystal clear . And about the socks they do work good they do pull all other impurities out but, they do clog quickly.
No water level in overflow is close to steady. Is it flushing? If the water in the overflow is going up and down then you need to increase the size of the air hole to allow more in.
I could try that. I tried making slits on the hose in the water and its didn't work.Dan get rid of the hose and nipple go back to the union put another piece of pipe dry fit don't glue drill several holes all around it to allow air to escape when you need to change the sock you can just pop off the pipe I had to do this on my 120 to release the air it seemed to work for me. Just make sure your holes are drilled in the pipe that's below the sock line
