I mean how big so your refugium section. Not more than 10-15 gal. Do you really need the equivilant of 100 watts? I highly doubt it. A 40 -60 watt equivalent would work fine and suck up less electricity. But if you want to spent the money on wasted electricity go for it. Lol

I wish I knew what kind of bulb I have now, although it never really grew my cheato very well. My fuge is only 10-15g(middle section of my 40B sump) so I don't wanna go overkill with it.

I have one of the par 30 red/blue LEDs in my sons fuge. It blows away any bulb I've used before. I think it cost me about $25 on eBay.

Well I plan on doing a 15g water change today in hopes I get my Salinity a bit closer, seems I'm at 1.020 at the moment. Red Dragon looks okay, very little PE so that's concerning already :/ maybe I'll try and move him.

Went out and got a new bulb today looks brighter for sure. Also did my 15g water change, my salinity is now at 1.022... Probably need to do a few more 5g changes to get it to 1.026 and then I'll start figuring out my alk and calc
