Mike, is there anything else involved in a E-pipe or is it literally just a pipe sitting there with an open top and bottom?
I'm definitely going to need helping setting this up bc I have no clue what I'm doing lol
Yes the emergency is only needs to be and open pipe at the inlet and outlet. You may need to tweak the height of the standpipe in your overflow a bit when you first set it up. Just use a slip fitting so that you can switch to a longer or shorter pipe if needed. Also your emergency overflow(s) are supposed to be off sufficient diameter to handle all of the flow if both of your siphons become clogged. I cheated this a little and didn't have a problem. I think that it is unlikely that both siphons would clog and you wouldn't notice it. The point is make those emergency drain as large as you can.
For your siphons I'd tee them together and use one gate valve to control them. Make sure that the discharge is just below the water level in your sump otherwise it will be noisy.
Its really not as complicated as it sounds and is worth a little extra effort. Fire away if you have questions.
