Does anyone have an extra weight they could bring? I have 24#'s I'm hoping that's enough to keep my extra buoyant ass on the bottom, but you never know.

Brian,

I am going to bring my weight belt with about 30 pounds on it. They are the hard weights that slide onto the belt. I won't be diving so you are welcome to use what you need.

Sweet, thanks Matt. Like I said, I don't know if I need it or not, but it's good to know it's there if I do. :)

Not a problem. I will also have some extra stuff with me just in case, ( snorkles, mask strap, things like that).

Oh and an extra wet suit if any of the smaller guys need one.

Most dive shops closed sundays, I didn't get the opportunity to hit one friday eve, or today.
No tank/air, so I'm passing on this one.
Have a nice afternoon, peeps!!

Ribs. I picked up an extra tank you can use if you still want to dive. Mike

Awesome time guys. I know I had a blast, and got to bring home some goodies to boot.

It was great seeing everyone again.

John, Phyl, Brian, Deb, Eric, Rob and the other Eric sorry I didn't get to see you guys off but we went out with the net. Got a nice school of jacks but no look downs. I did get a small puffer that I brought home. He's about the size of a pea.

I will try to get some pics posted of what I got. I am dying to see the angles you folks caught.

Maybe we can get a trip together around Barnegat inlet next time. There are some nice coves that are off limits to boat traffic. I will check with some of the local divers down this way and see what they say.

Jason,
Here's a short video of some of my pipefish so you can see what they look like. These were collected in Barnegat Bay a few months ago.

Just click the pic to play the video.

Jason,

That is great. Pipes are another of my passions. If you get a chance I'd love to see pics, if it's possible that is.

Mike,

They look great. They have schooled up nicely. Glad to hear that some are taking frozen already.

BTW, your tank looks nice.

The Jacks were caught in the sein. Phill and Eric caught little buterflies with the slurps. They worked excellent. I was too busy playing sucking up the giant crabs. My gun has the 3 inch mouth, so when I tried sucking in the small fish, it sucked everything else in with it too. 2 of these Jacks have you're name on them.
