Treat night! Went to papa Al’s in Rockaway for fried chicken. I got 6 wings, an original chicken sandwich and some onion rings. Delicious. Pricier than the chains but big portions. Love their food.
Yes, they are. They are one of my go to places. I like them, Calandras on 46 in Fairfield and Sun High Farms in Randolph for fresh bread. And I have the belly to prove it unfortunately . Did you used to live around here?@Salted is Anthony's bakery still on Luger Rd? I used to go there every week for bread/rolls and some of their prepared goods.
You could smell them baking for 5 miles or so on 80

I know this sounds weird, but instead of butter on the bread, try mayo. Freaking awesome. You can cook it at a higher temperature than a buttered grill cheese and get a cheesy, melty, goldeny creation. At 8:30 last night made a grilled cheese sandwich.
I second this, how I make my grilled cheese/steak sandwiches nowI know this sounds weird, but instead of butter on the bread, try mayo. Freaking awesome. You can cook it at a higher temperature than a buttered grill cheese and get a cheesy, melty, goldeny creation.
