Well happy 4th of July! Here we are flying out to Chicago (whole family) to see my sis for the weekend. We made the best time ever, not a car from my house to Philly. Literally took as long as the crow flies! Now at the gate 2 hours ahead of departure, at least I can sip my coffee. Best part of this trip is the 55 has been decommissioned and my 120 is auto ato, 2 part dosing, lights etc. All our home sitter has to do is feed the fish. What a wonderful feeling to have right now. As I think about it I have no idea how I did it without the automation. It's like trying to go several days without your cell phone.lol
I know that feeling. I wouldn't have a tank right now if it wasn't for my RKL and automation!
Vacations are a little less stressful when the tank is on autopilot.

Well here in Chicago we visited the American Girl store......just spent @ 200 gal tank! 
Here is a crappy shot I found of my current 120.
....wish I had that In view now. all I got is 2 nappers and Great Lakes imperial IPA to console me. I guess it could be worse; two boys at the zoo, trying to keep them from throwing rocks at the gorillas.

Very cool. How did you get the fish to swim upside down for that shot.

I guess you are using a controller now. I use an automatic fish feeder by Fishmate which seems to do a good job. I can see a controller my future also.

Wow. I have to ask, wth are you doing right when it comes to glueing your sps to your glass? I can't get them to stick long term. It sticks for a few days and then the piece falls off. What are you using? I glue up the frag, put it on the glass, pull off until I see glue string, then I go right back on.
K&j magnets, they are entombed in plastic. Been using them for almost 2 years now and never had an issue. They are a bit pricey, the mags for the 120 run @ 5$ a piece for the water loving plastic side and 2-3 for the epoxy coated air loving side. Pull strength is more than you could want!
