Pete the tank looks amazing sideways or not. Can't wait to get there myself. I guess we can sadly say you will not be one of the many making the switch to t5 or Mh. LEDs are working perfectly fine for you.

John, Mark i thank you for the kind words. With regards to lighting, I think there is more than one way to skin a cat! What works for me, may not for others. There are reefers here that have tanks that are amazing beyond words. In my tank some corals look like crap, and others thrive. For example I have a frag from Sunny that browned out on me 2.5 years ago. 4 months ago it took off and grew 1 cm....from the original size! Well, today it's back to stasis! Ugghhhh or meh, you decide as to why I still keep it. My big secret is try something small and see what works. I'm not going halide nor t5, I'll just keep tinkering with what I got and culture what does best in my system.
