    One word of caution, make sure the stand is made of wood. Some of the cheaper stands are made out of composite with a wood or vinyl veneer. If they get scratched or dent the composite will swell and the stand will be weakened. Look inside the stand to check. Bob

    fisher Don't use saltwater for your topoff. The water that is evaporating from your tank is fresh the salt is left behind and by using fresh the salinity level will stay the same. You can use saltwater to bump up the SG a little. Bob

    Welcome to the club! You want to re-think the use of the Remora skimmer, it's way under powered for a 120. The regular Remora is only rated at 20 - 75 depending on bioload.
