Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
i made the mistake of housing my tang in a QT with a damsel. The damsel stupidly tried to carve out a space and that didn't work out. Since that brief period in the QT, it's been years now and even though there is 120 gallons of space, the tang will purposefully chase the damsel at any given...
I have a softball sized hunk of candy cane. It started as 3 heads from greg. Needless to say if you want to start over, more than happy to chip in. No frogspawn but plenty of hammer coral (similar). My setosa is very small.
I had bryopsis about 2 years ago and pretty sure I eradicated it...
Mine gobbles up any bits of mysis that float by the clowns and fish. That is the extent of me feeding it. I also used to feed it directly (as in turkey baste some mysis right at it) but noticed how quickly it was growing and I stopped. It's still growing and just split.
LOL. People are stunned when I tell them that the grape cap is "alive" and not a piece of plastic stuck in there. But honestly telling them it's an idaho grape cap is about as relevant to them as what kind of pumps I'm using. LOL.
My typical answer: "yes that wavy thing is alive, it's an...
MACNAs past. While I feel like the club learned a lot from Atlanta and made a lot of changes to accommodate what people wanted, I sorta doubt MASNA would choose NJ again so soon. Also a lot of the core knowledge from people like john/phyl/mikem/rod/brian etc which would be beneficial to have...

thanks for sharing!
foxface isn't a tang though...rabbitfish.
I feel torn on this. I agree the fish probably deserves a better home, but let's not forget a "better" home means not just size, but water quality, food, appropriate community mates.
What I'm saying is that at the extreme, one would argue no size...
Australia and France...two countries you'd think would be "advanced" enough to realize that if a shark wanted to kill you, there would be a death every day in those waters. For perth - 5 in one year results in this panic? ridiculous. The french panic because of 2 attacks.
Neither article...
saw this - figured it might help to repost:
1) Isolate (quarantine) the fish if any of these things apply:
- i) Fish is covered in many areas with nodules;
- ii) Fish is being harassed by other fish;
- iii) Nodules on the fish's mouth hinder it from eating normally; and/or
- iv) Fish shows...

I've read that some people will still run GFO and Carbon along with bp.
Like i said, i'm just too lazy to hassle with another reactor for carbon or gfo... So...
