it's not a single use code, i got the same thing in the mail, it has the same code's on it, i'm guessing they mailed it to a lot of people so the code more than likely can be used multiple times. I don't know how long they are good for though.
Top of my tank is at the 5 foot mark, i need a step ladder to get into it, lol, and if something is in the front on the bottom, i just about need a snorkel and goggles. Tank is really coming along nicely there. You decide on another fish yet?
You shouldn't really need to dose anything with those corals. Go with saliftert for testing. Right now for alk i use that and hanna at the same time, i know where their deviations fall and hanna shows consistency, saliftert shows the number a bit more accurately for me. I switched over to...
I'm not sure what you have for coral, system size, the dosers you're using, and well as how much you are dosing daily, that would all be useful as a starting point. After that we can go from there, i would check the readings as well as how much the dosing pump is actually putting out for alk and...
ph will fluctuate a lot depending on the day and what time you test it, calcium almost seems like some type of testing error, possibly the same with the dkh, but if they are correct, and you think you are dosing alk and calc evenly, i would check your dosers for what they actually putting out. i...
Alk I think is on the bottom, I can't tell if there is a difference, I was assuming it was constant though if he thought something was off with the calc, if the alk is going up though then yes, slow down the dosing.
Mag shouldn't go up unless you dosed, I don't know the difference in calc between the two readings but it could possibly be either the test kit margin of error or the calc doser might be putting out more than you think. You could start by checking the output on it.
I believe the amount of potassium actually put into the tank by this is so small it won't effect the tank, and normal water changes will keep it down as well.
Well, if that local shop is selling for $4 a gallon, chances are they are doing that because they either have no competition locally and can charge that much, or that's what other local shops are charging. Another possibility might be buying it off a local reefer if you can find one in your area...
I was going to suggest an ro system and just doing the saltwater yourself, I paid a total of 100 for my ro/di and a 200g box of instant ocean is 40 bucks, so 20 cents a gallon per box. Even at 2 bucks a gallon, after 100 gallons you could have just got a nice ro system along with a box of salt...
Not really watts with leds, though you usually want 3 watts per led, but more about colors, but with Lps and softies you can use the cheap Chinese fixtures or go with reefbreeders if you want. There are other higher priced options depending on the look you want.
recently there was one that stomped her around 5 month old son. personally, i think she should be thrown in an all male prison for that, and see how it feels to be defenseless.
