    Jimroth's Big Ol' Tank

Sounds like things are moving along nicely. I run chemipure elite in my Biocube 8 and was running it in my 20L when I had it set up. It's a good thing to have in the smaller tanks. Having the GFO helps when you are not running a skimmer on little tanks.

    Snail ID pls

I can't remember the name off hand, I'll look around to see if I can find the name. EDIT: Fount it, they are called Collonista Snails. They are nocturnal and hide in the rocks during the day, but occasionally you will find them out during the day. They stay very small and they will...

need help in finding plumping part

    Yep $4 for just a 1-1/4" coupling. Got a S-80 cap and short 8" section of pipe. They wanted $15 for a 1.5" T-fitting and that is where I drew the line. Got a 1.5" S-40 T-fitting for $2!

The question is, for how much? Im sure it will be more than the $4 schedule 80 fitting I got from Lowes. ;)

need help in finding plumping part

Grey PVC is schedule 80 however, it sounds like the same problem I have with my reef oct skimmer, the parts and fittings they use are metric. I am turning down a schedule 80 Inch fitting at work down to the correct metric fitting size to work with the skimmer.

    True Frag Swap

I do like the 30 seconds to select a frag. Last April there was a backlog of people around the tank as they decided what frag they want.

    FS:Various corals, RBTA - Montville, NJ 07045

First off, these are little colonies, not frags. If possible, I'd like to stop by again next Thursday and pick up some of the pink/teal milli. I still can't get over how big and flat that milli grew on the back glass and that "Ric rock" was impressive as well. Thanks again for the colonies, or...

Is there any aquarium safe metal out there?

Titanium is the first choice in corrosion resistance but a good quality 316 would be a cheaper alternative. 316L has a lower sulfur content and is easier to machine. What are you planning on doing or making?
