The 75 rimless, your 150 and a few others were tempered all around. :(
I really wanted a 75 rimless, but when I found out I could not dill the back for returns, that killed that tank for me.
Looking at the tank, the dimensions of it seem like the dimensions of my 65 on steroids. :D We talked about the whole deep blue tempered glass thing and Will showed me the breakdown they sent him. Interesting that some of the tanks are tempered bottom, front and back and not the sides. What made...
I'm wondering why you went with the RA controller... :p. Hahaha J/K
Something is not right if the controller is capable of putting out 9.5V. It sounds more like an issue with the lights themselves and the way they have the dimmer circuits wired.
Are they using Meanwell drivers and if so, is...
Micro brittles are harmless, they are great little scavengers to have in the tank. The stars will most likely stick to the rocks and eat the coralline algae off them. They can reproduce rapidly so keep an eye on their numbers.
Snails don't last long in with my puffer. What has lasted the longest in the tank are the large non-reef safe caribbean hermit crabs and two little hermit crabs.
The way that my system is set up, I run it from the auto shutoff to the first T, a second T, and then onto the storage tank. The first T with the yellow hose goes to my DI. The second T goes to my Water Polisher and up to the faucet for drinking water. The "coconut carbon" polishing filter...
900LPH is only 238GPH. The problem is, Skimmer pumps use needle wheels instead of impellers, so you will not get very much head height from it. Unless you replace the needle wheel, that pump will not be of much use to you other than to circulate water.
Welcome Meagan! He told you about the "Newbie Luck" at the meetings did he? LoL Well, I guess you probably saw him when he came home with the tank and more corals then he could carry. :D
Don't get screwed
Where are the screws in the auto shut off? The way the diaphragm works, the back pressure must be on the correct side for it to work (it's basically a hydraulic piston). The side with the "screws" is the water coming out of the membrane. The other side with no screws is the...
There is only one switch on the side of the fixture and you are right if the switch was bad, both lights would be out. Sounds like it might be a bad connection, damaged wires (from heat) or a bad ballast.
