That is one of the great things about T-5's. Not only will changing bulbs change the color but placement of the bulbs will also change the appearance of the tank. Try swapping the middle bulbs and see what that does for you.

Try swapping the Blue+ and Purple+ you have in there now. The order of the bulbs does make a difference. Try: Blue+ Blue+ Purple+ Aquablue

Yes, placing the rock on the bottom of the tank will keep it from being undermined by any tank inhabitants and make for a more stable rock structure.

I'm afraid that does not look very good. My serpent star did that and he didn't make it. :( He lost his limbs and his central disk started to disintegrate. I hope I'm wrong and Mr Smiles gets better or someone else has any ideas.
