Sorry to hear about your loss. :( I know parts of Cranford, Westfield and Garwood were without power for a long time. My friend who lives on Grove street just got his power back Friday. Downtown Cranford got hit hard, First Aid squad was underwater and the police station also had to be evacuated.

If you run pellets it is not recommended to run GFO for phosphates. The GFO can starve the bacteria of the nutrients it needs the remove nitrates/phosphates.

Typically LEDs last around 50,000 hours. More or less depending on what current you are driving them at, heat and so on.
