Also wanted to share my tank indicator. This was a little chunk of flesh on a stick that I cut down and just glued to the rock figuring what the h3ll. Figured since this was doing well I could add more. And so I have.

I know exactly what you mean. That pillar actually doesn't touch any of the sides. I think there is only one spot where it touches the hob skimmer box.

from a different club site setting up the equipment: -set the camera up on a tri-pod -turn off ALL pumps providing any kind of water circulation -make sure the lens is perpendicular to the glass….if its at an angle…this will distort the picture and make it look blurry -set the lens zoom...

Thanks Cannon t3 rebel. I used the raw setting and turned off all the pumps for these shots.

I barely have to dose at this point. My calc stays above 420 and my alk drops from 8 to 7 inbetween waterchanges. I dosed alk after these tests. All I do is use kalkwasser in my topoff.

Maybe I'll take a sample to AC. I'm not 100% on what test they use though.
