I think the total for the parts is somewhere around $130.
They're not very complex to build, the only thing is you need some very specific tools. Those being 1/4" NPT and 1/2" NPT pipe taps, along with 7/16" and 45/64" drill bits. If you have those and are somewhat handy, it's pretty easy.

Good Mornin' (well afternoon) all. I'm psyched about the meeting tomorrow, too! We finished making the test reactor and I think we have a plan!
All of the parts have been bought. Acrylic is cut to length. The only thing left to do is cut the 4" PVC connector pieces. Assembly took me about two...
As evidenced by my girth, Indonesian, Italian, American, Chinese, Japanese, Viet Namese, Korean, Irish, German, Spanish, Mexican, Portugese, S. American, Hawaiian, Seafood, Poultry, Pork, Beef are all OK by me! I may have missed some, but I'm sure I'd eat them too!

Update: We changed the drain lines to the “U” shaped configuration and it seems to be working much better. We had to make a couple of minor mod’s for it to get really quiet, though. The first thing we did was drill about a dozen holes in the vertical drain. It was better but still not great...
Well, we finally finished Phase 1 (as we are affectionately calling it!). Attached is an exceedingly cheesebag picture of what we've got. Basically, it's 100 gallon sump feeding a 150 gallon frag tank. We draw out of the bottom of the 100 gallon sump and return to the 4 corners of the 150. There...
