i have these setup:
all equipment pass through the UPS (for power surge protection purpose).
when power outage, only these devices will be operating with the UPS's battery:
- a power head
- a heater (inside the display tank)
- small air pump to blow air on the power head
- a fan (for summer...
in this case, if you want it to be a little bit quiet-er - you may want to use a lower voltage like 9V or something... then put them all in parallel, but make sure the AC/DC adapter have the enough AMP support all fans. (if you put them in serial, if one fan break, two fans will stop...)  ::)
in this case you have to do it in pararell...
you can not do it in series, cause if you have 2 FANs in a series, that mean each Fan will only get 110V / 2 ==> 55V. they will either simply not turning or will turn very slowly.
some time, when stuffs are hookup in series is because they wanted...
for people that trying to click on the link, and it shows BLANK...
the trick i used to over come this issue is:
- add something JUNK at the end of the URL, to trick the "cache manager" think this is something you never visit before, and hence will give you the content again...
