I think It's more important to drip acclimate fish. I started that recently (as opposed to slopping water in and out of the bag) and I think I'm getting better results. I don't drip acclimate coral.

It's also legal in Canada to harvest 1 lb and smaller lobsters. When you order a genyooine Maine lobster dinner in Hawaii, it's always one of those puny Canada punks. I guess Canada doesn't worry about their fishery.

I have a floatswitch on my ReefGeek ATO controller that has stuck twice in the up position, leaving me with a nearly empty sump. How often do you have to clean these things, and is vinegar OK?

The ease of pulling off the hose really bugged me, so mine have little wire ties on all connections except one of the ones right on top, for ease in flushing the new carbon/GAC (with an alternate hose).
