I moved 4 pieces back over bc I had to tear down my frag tank, it went south pretty quick and I think it was due to that lid I made for it. Brown hair algae killed like 5 of my frags as well.
My DT is doing awesome. Everyone is so active, no fighting between my wrasses anymore. Skimmer is skimming. Salinity is rising
think I need to get more of a CUC thoI'm doing the treatment in my tank now. I think a fish skipped my quarantine by a day or 2 and I started seeing the ich it's been about 5 days and only a spot or 2 on some fish are visible everyone else is clear no new cycles have started since I started treating. I added a powder blue tang once treatment started. If he caught ich that would Mean my concentration of meds is wrong

Many people who tried the medication failed to realize that this Crypto-Pro is like Copper except a bit safer. I have 5 Angels in my tank and they are very sensitive to copper based medications. Crypto in my experience works very much like other meds except its very easy to remove from the water once treatment is over.
My experience in the 2 week treatment was as follows.
Day 1 - No change
Day 2 - No Change
Day 3 - Reduced Number of Prasites
Day 4 - Black Holes all over the fish where Prasites have ruptured (Dosed Melafix to prevent Infection)
Day 5 - Vastly Reduced number of Prasites and increased Fish Activity
Day 6 - Still See Parasites but I blelived them to be husks
Day 7 - Barely any to No Parasites
Water Change RE-Dosing
The Next 7 Days Basically NO parasites were seen. I kept Dosing Melafix and after that I dosed Kanamyacin - aka Kana-Pro for a week.

That's exactly how my schedule worked. I haven't seen anything in a few weeks now so I'm happy and so r the fish
Wow that's horrible. Surprising that the hippo is one of the remaining fish though, usually they are the first to go when it comes to diseases :/ hope they pull thru for you!

What kind of bulb would you guys recommend for my fuge? Its a basic clamp on style home depot light fixture. Just realized I haven't replaced it in quite some time. I can't grow cheato like other people do
