Yes sir. I figure I'd take advantage of their 40% off coral sale
Well where could I put valves on the returns? Add the end of each manifold?
Oh really? See that I did not know, how come? You also want the exit port of the biopellet reactor at the pick-up of your skimmer.
Well that's how it is now. But I figured the reason behind that was bc i had the manifold on the right side and water didn't have to go thru the manifold on the left side.Yep. Without them that will be the waters least resistance. You will get next to no flow out of the other valves.
Oh really? See that I did not know, how come?
The way biopellets work is that it is bacterial food. The bacteria grow and sluff off the pellets after "consuming" nitrates and phosphates. The skimmer immediately removes them from the water column. If you don't have the exit of the reactor right next to your skimmer, all this bacteria ends up in your water column....most likely making for cloudy water.
If I put GFO on one side of the manifold and BP on the other would that make a difference?
Wait, r u talking about where the manifold meets the lines for GFO and bio pellets? Each TEE off the manifold will have a ball valve
Right
How many things do you need operate off of the main pump?
