If the fish and every other fish in its tank at the store look perfectly healthy, 2 weeks. If anything even looks a little bit down in the tank it’s a month, and if it’s diseased I do a month after it stops showing symptoms. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Assuming you removed the dead body, running carbon and water changes is all you can really do. How big was it? If your fish are still alive and look healthy by this morning I’d say you are in the clear, but for future reference it’s a good idea to look into power head covers. Sorry to hear...

If you already have an overflow why not get a sump? Even a glass tank from petco works fine. Extra water volume to help with stability too! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
