Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
It's hard to say if you'll have a problem or not. If I'm reading this right, you want to restrict the flow on the line the feeds the pump. If that's the case, you could have more than just reduced flow issues. I've always heard that a pump starved for water will cause cavitation issues but...
That's great! I'm glad you guys were able to pull it off so successfully with such short notice. Congrats and thanks for stepping up to help promote the mission of our club.
Wow, you got that pic with a point-and-shoot! That's really impressive. There's something about the color pattern of harlequins that makes them hard to shoot (for me at least). I think their pattern confuses the sensor or something but there's always a spot that comes out blurry . . . well...
Actually that's the best thing you can do and what is recommended. In general, you want to carry the largest diameter pipe you can for as long as possible and then step down as close to the tank as you can get. Another thing that is recommended is to always step up at least one pipe size from...
I agree with reefsandrotts. You may need a little more flow but it's a heck of a deal.
I have the same size tank in my basement and the dimensions are nice. Personally, I like tanks that are a little bigger front to back but you can make it work.
Bob - PGordemer is picking from here on Thursday and lives in Paulsboro. I don't want to commit for him but he may be able to take some back for you. I'm not sure if that's anymore convenient for you or not though.
Lou - No problem. We'll have some bagged up for you.
"Nice pic of the old tank"
"Oh, the new tank looks nice"
"Oh that's a nice pic too"
"That looks very nice"
"That pic looks good"
"EEEEGGGGGAAAAAAD! What is that!"
All-in-all, it looks great. Congrats on the new tank.
We were looking in our tank around 1:30 this morning. Holy cow! The LPS warfare is unbelievable. All the innocuous little favias, and chalices that sit around so peacefully during the day are BRUTAL at night! That "famous" club pineapple is a bruiser. Who knew! It had long sweepers out...
I know I'm not exactly local Bob, but I've got to have a spare of every size bulkhead and uni-seal out there. If you get in a bind and really need one, let me know and we'll figure out how to get it to you.
Sorry for your loss, Jim. It's nice that he was able to enjoy this part of your life with you. I'm sure those are some memories that will stay with you always.
