We have a few fish that are in need of a good home.
First is a Flame Angel that is very colorful and healthy. We've had it for about 2 years. $45
Second is a Maroon Clown and BTA combo. The BTA is attached to 3# piece of rock and is about 6" when fully opened. The clown is about 2". $50
Thanks!
Looks good Dave. One thing I don't understand though: You have two Tee's feeding into the TDS meter. The flow from both directions is in. Unless you're planning on using shut-offs to direct the flow, you're going to have problem. I'm not sure why you want those Tee's anyway. Why not eliminate...
I went with "Longer than 3 but less than 4" because that's how long we've been in the hobby. However, I know that my eel was in other tanks for at least 2 years before we got it. It's hard to say how old some of them are. We still have our original blue chromis and the yellow tang. Those were...
Welcome to NJRC and thanks for the update. I hope you're able to recover from the damage quickly.
Hopefully with your dedication and passion the current preceptions will begin to turn around. I've gotten a lot of good stuff from ILC in the past.
David - Did you check your GH? Just curious what value you got if you did.
Bruce - Where did you say we could get those GH test kits? I'd like to test my water.
Thanks!
Our anthias (Thompsoni's) swim vertically too. It's the strangest thing! It may not be a bad sign for your Queens to be doing it too. They are supposed to be buggers to get to eat.
Good luck and keep us posted.
The Georgia Aquarium is using RK2 skimmers. They are a big vendor in the commerical arena. We saw them at MACNA and they said they were just getting ready to launch a "hobby sized" line of products. One of the things they had there was this sweet combination Sump/Skimmer/Fuge. It was really nice...
Personally, I think that concern is overrated. We switch between a couple of different brands of salt fairly regularly and handle it through water changes. Unless you have EXCEEDINGLY sensitve livestock in your tank I wouldn't give it a second thought. Just start using the TM to make up your...
Nice! Well that just makes this whole thing a lot easier. The only question I would have about that float valve is whether or not there are any metal parts that would be coming in contact with the water. If not, it looks like the perfect solution. OK Dave, be the Guinea Pig ;D and let us know...
I would think so too.
David, why are you reluctant to add another electrical device? I think you said you were trying to reduce the risk of failure. IMO, going about it this way may work but seems equally (if not more) risky. With only one outlet and <$100 this is a non-issue. You wouldn't need...
