Hey Joe,
Glad you were able to get your head out of the diapers long enough to stop in and say "hi"! Yeah, those first 18 to 22 YEARS can keep you quite busy ;D
Thanks for all of the feedback everyone. We really appreciate it.
Richie, that's a scroll coral (thanks MikeM!). It's definitely one our favorite pieces. Good luck with your new tank. I'm sure you'll be very happy with it. I really like the foot print of a 180. It gives you a lot of...
I'm so glad that rock is starting to purple up. Those first few days were rough when everything was stark white. I'm sure in a few months it'll be back to how it was before we switched over.
I've had a purple firefish for 2 years now. I originally got it for my nano, where it lived in rather "rugged" conditions. I've since moved it to my main where it seems to be doing equally as well. I certainly wouldn't call him fragile. He's OK but I'd never get another one because it's got to...
Sorry, I can't help you on the bulkhead question either. Actually, I had no idea there were heavy duty and light duty types. I couldn't even tell you what type we have on our 180. I would think you'd want the ones with the slip fitting on the flange side, though. IMO, it would make installing...
Save it to your hard drive, then edit it using Word or some similar text editor. Re-save it and email it to Membership@NJReefers.org. If you're having trouble saving it, just copy the text and paste it into a new email message. Then edit your info and send it. Either way will be fine.
HTH. Let...
I never realized that. I guess it's because I never go to the Forums page. It does seem to make sense to me though, because it is a bit of a specialized part of the hobby. Just curious, what is your issue with it being there? (Not flaming, just curious)
Cool! Nice to see you post. It looks like you've had an account for a quite some time. Hopefully we'll see some more posts in the future. Why not tell us a little about your system and experience? We'd love to know more.
That looks GREAT, Lou! Nice aquascaping. Keep the updates coming. I'm looking forward to following along with this one.
Hope to see you and your son at a meeting soon. I'm sure he'll have fun with the rest of the future reefers (as I'm sure you will with the current reefers)!
Thanks everyone. So far the day has been great.
That stuff you mention . . . what's it called . . . YinYang or something like that. I've never tried it but it looks good. Maybe I'll give it a try today. It'll be noon in about 3 minutes so I'll wait until then. Oh the heck with it . . . it's...
Dave, I still don't think that's going to work. Following the path of least resistence", I think your TDS meter will only be reading the water coming out of your prefitler. The flow going into the Tee after the prefilter is going to be higher than the flow going into the Tee after the Ani. As a...
LOL! Oh man, that's funny. I was just getting ready to post that I had caught the bunny and was beating 40 days worth of chocolate out him when you posted this. Very funny!
As was yours Rich, that was really funny too!
