    chaeto...... dying

It could be a good thing. The reason most people use cheato, et al, is to export excess/unwanted nutirients. It could be that your system is relatively nutrient free.

    reef central

Yeah, I figured since he's posted before, he must have completed the registration at some point but am just wondering if something got messed up on their end. Maybe going through the process again will "reset" him. Just a thought . . .

    reef central

It says "Awaiting Email Confirmation" under your user name. If you have the initial email from them, try going through the registration process again. If that doesn't work, go to the bottom of the page and use the "Contact Us" link to email them to ask what's up.

Hey Jer, welcome back! Glad to hear you still have the bug. I'm just curious, do you still have the hole in the wall for the tank?

    Sourcing Dowflake and MagFlakes

I'm pretty sure Dow stopped extracting Bromide from their calcium and magnesium products. A search of RC should answer the question. I'd say to search here but the only place I found anything on the subject was in a long winded debate a long time ago between two people more concerned with...

Posting in old threads - Wakin up the dead!

I like when someone post something like "OK, I figured out the problem my lights. I blew a breaker but it's all fixed now." Then 6 months later someone posts "Did you check your bulbs?" Maybe these clowns all work for a computer help desk somewhere . . .

    Reef Addiction Support for Spouses

I am reefaholic in recovery. It has been 6 days since my last water change. I have been avoiding the 12 step program because they lead down to my fish room. Being in the same room with my skimmer and reactors could lead to an unwanted intervention.

So who uses what salt brand

I have been using Tropic Marin Pro but my corals haven't been looking good lately. I've heard that they are having quality problems. It's something about their parameters not being consistent. That's all hearsay, though. At any rate, I'm switching over to SeaChem Reef salt. I've heard good...
