    Dan's 150 Rebuild

You don't need as much as in a reef, but you still need good flow to prevent junk building up on your rocks etc. I would keep the same flow you did for your reef personally.

    WTB SPS and LPS Frags

Hey Guys, So having a one year old baby has killed my reefing fund, and I have not added any coral in a year. I need something new to look at, let me know if you guys have any 10-20$ frags you would be willing to part with. It would be great if you were within 30-40 minutes of Cherry Hill...

Red Sea Coral Pro Salt with Red Sea Test Kit with 0 K+ and Fe+

I wrote my first response in haste because I should have been working haha. I believe red sea pro is derived directly from the rea sea so it very unlikely that the iron and potassium content is zero. A bad test kit on the other hand is very possible and happens often. Also, to add what George...

    GFO question

Don't make it a habit, but no big deal. Everyone that runs gfo has some in their tank. I have read that gfo grinds can raise iron content in the water which can cause a little algae.

100% silicone does NOT mean no mold inhibitors. That is the mistake people make. You want ge 1 or anything marketed for aquarium use you will find at pet stores.

Post which silicone you plan to use here first, and if it is under silicone it shouldn't be an issue. But that assuming the silicone is covering it all and water tight.

If you have coral, I would lower the water level so the adhesive is not in the water, then run carbon. The mold inhibitor has been know to wipe out corals. I will let the experts chime in on how serious this is, and how to remove it.

Is any of the new adhesive in contact with the water?

That looks like it should hold just fine, but a couple things to look out for: - I would check the tanks seams to make sure there are no big bubbles, or lighter colored sections. That most flex in the glass can permanently hurt the seams. - Make sure the silicon you used does not have mold and...
