Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
That hadn't happened yet when I posted. I'm glad I was still semiconscious by the time it did. Fortunately, after that very brief bout of excitement it went back to being totally lame. I almost had my hopes up that show would be good again (like the first season), but it brought it right back to...
This may crank it up:
What's the worst movie you ever saw?
For me it's a tie: The Thin Red Line and Lost in Translation
(TNT reminded me of them because I feel each of those director's owe me 2 to 3 hours of my life back)
Personally, I wouldn't say that you "offended" me. I will say that I'd be really disappointed to find my wife bashing me in a male dominated public forum, though . . . .
I agree Joe. One day those nets are gonna start coming up empty.
The other strange thing in the article was that the fish was 90-115 years old with a stomach filled with fully developed embryos.
I think you'd need something between the tee and your display to force water back to your skimmer (ET AL). Going with the whole path of least resistance thing, I'm sure some of the flow would head in that direction, but I'd think you'd want to ensure that you got enough going that way.
We tried...
Looking at the drawing, I have one question: Do you plan to come out of the pump and into a Tee with one leg going straight to the display tank and the other going to your manifold? I'm not sure how well that would work out. Would you put the flow control valve between that Tee and the display...
We're using ARM also. We started with both chambers filled about 3/4. It seemed to stay at that height for a while and not really move. I put a piece of black tape on it to mark the level and it was infact lowering but very slowly. Once the level got down to about 2/3 it started to drop at a...
Yeah Mike, we're using the Sequence 5800. It's a great pump. It's very quiet and pumps all of the volume we need (so far!). The biggest compliment I can give them is their customer service. We had an issue with our first pump just prior to the 4th of July weekend last year. The pump didn't fail...
Looks great, Wendy. I like the open look of the rock work.
Sorry to hear you were so ill. It's hard to believe it's saltwater related, though. I've definitely ingested my share over the past few years. You never know though, maybe something coming off of those "dead little wormy thingies"...
Maybe it's some sort of April Fool's joke? The home page gives you that error message, but you can get to the forums (which still seem active) by using this link:

Have you given any thought to making the holes larger? That might be an option to get the msot out of your pump. I'm not really sure much you can push through 1/2" pipe but it sounds pretty small to me.
Sounds like your pretty much ready to add a few hardy and inexpensive fish. I'm partial to blue/green chromis but there are a bunch of other options you could go with. As far as coral, that knd of depends on what your long term plan is. If you're going with an all softie tank, you could probably...
We use a dual top-off switch from AutoTopOff.com in the sump. It's plugged into an X10 which is controlled by an AquaController II. The switch is connected to a pump that is sitting in my RO/DI storage tank. Every six hours, the ACII turns that X10 on for 1 minute. If the water level is below...
Welcome to the NJRC forums!
Thanks for the feedback on Something Fishy. If you get some time, you should go to the General Discussion forum and post a little about your self and your setup in the Introductions Thread.
