It's one gallon a day as opposed to 15 gallons every two weeks. Mainly because automating a water change once every two weeks is beyond my controllers capability, water would have to be pulled from the main tank as opposed to just the sump, along with other issues that i'm sure would come up...
Automated my water changes to change 3600ml a day, just short of a gallon. Picked up a 42 gallon brute can, put a small powerhead in it to circulate, everything is working great so far. i have my ato shut off at 11, it empties 3600ml between 11 and 12, and between 12 and 1 puts 3600ml of fresh...
It's getting there, after tomorrow it's going to look a lot different with the coral exchange, and more being added in the week. I've been eyeing up a scoly and with ultimate corals sale, i bought two, lol.

Just two quick updated shots, the first one is the purple torch i have. after putting in the actinic, you can now see a green glow in the base and tentacles. Was not there before, and the tentacles glow green under the actinics. Second is an updated shot of the tank after some aggressive algae...
Also, the combo of gfo, carbon dosing, manual removal and raising the mag 250ppm with tech m is really putting a large dent in the byropsis. Whatever i can't remove manually is turning white and starting to fall apart.
